• Dr Frances Ellen Steuart Munro is a dentist with a particular interest in minimally invasive and aesthetic dentistry. She is passionate about achieving natural-looking results while preserving as much healthy tooth structure as possible and supporting her patients’ long-term oral health.
• Frances graduated from Newcastle University and went on to complete additional hospital-based training. She subsequently became a member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
• Having undertaken further postgraduate training, including a diploma in minimally invasive and aesthetic dentistry, Frances provides evidence-based, conservative treatment tailored to each patient. Her approach focuses on enhancing the appearance of the smile without unnecessary intervention.
• Frances particularly enjoys finding the balance between helping patients feel confident about their smiles and protecting their teeth for the future. Wherever appropriate, she prioritises minimally invasive techniques and aims to avoid unnecessary removal of healthy tooth structure.
• Outside of dentistry, Frances has always had a strong interest in sport. She spent many years competing in high-performance rowing before turning her attention to running.
